"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Talia Castro-Pozo and I'm Jules Helm. And we're here in New York City at Stepping Out Studios teaching you Night Club Salsa. In New York, Salsa or Night Club Salsa, its very common to dance with your arms. So we involve the arms as a way to express ourselves. So at this level we don't have to think of very complicated patterns, but, I will be giving you arm style on the Texas Tommy step we just did. Back break. So the followers, as you connect with your partner, you can take your left hand up and out of the way into some brushing the hair action to connect with your partner again. Quick, slow, quick, quick, slow. So the arm is active; up, down, to the side. Quick, quick, slow. As we go to a more basic way of dancing like I did before, basic step, I just have my arm above my waist level, out of the way, and gracefully keeping the arms up. Or, up and down, quick, quick, connect with your partner. Quick, quick, slow and quick, quick, slow, arm side."
