"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Talia Castro-Pozo and I'm Jules Helm and we're here in New York City at Stepping Out Studios teaching you night club salsa. So, next step we're going to work a little bit on leading and following and frame. We've done a couple of turns; we've done cross body leads. Let's first take a moment to break this down. So leaders, again, we're in this position or we're in this position, again nothing too formal or it's going to look stiff. So you're relaxed and loose. However, you don't want to be limp. If you're limp and you drop down, then as a leader, you're not communicating anything and as a follower, you're not able to take a signal. So add a little tone in here. Frame, if you two were to take a slight push forward or a slight pull back, with not a lot of forward and back movement, it's right there, it's in the upper back, those arms are plugged in to your back. Now, we're going to take this and use it, start applying it. So, we're here, I don't really have to do anything except move my body and it communicates or translates through my arms. When I take into my partner, she's going to go right with me. And last but not least, the show of how to use this in a right and left turn, there's a small circle I'm drawing with my partner's head. Or here, a small circle. And there you have some work on leading, following and frame."
