" On behalf of expertvillage.com Aloha, my name is Tama and this is Nani Maka, we are from Tama Leao's Polynesian Productions located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. What we’re going to do is we’re going to teach you the basic of the hula dance. And folks the very important costumes that we have on the island are called the sarongs as we say in Samoa it’s called the lava lava, it’s a piece of material just like what I got around my waist it comes like two yards and you can wear them around the house or just going out and you will see a lot of island males will wear them. The ladies wear them a lot different, they wear them up to their neck, it goes around the other you know but when I wear them I just wear them around the house, it’s very comfortable and we also use it for shows."
