"Hi, I'm Terri Lynn and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village and in this segment, we're going to talk about what to wear for an audition. Let's do this. Okay, this is what you don't wear for an audition. How about this? Still no. Ow about this? Now that's better. So when you go into an audition, if you don't know specifically, if they haven't given you directions or instructions on how to dress, you want to keep it very basic, not a lot of patterns or anything too bright or too dark. You want to stay away from whites, also too really dark colors like black is sometimes not great for cameras. So neutral colors are nice, browns, earth tones, nice jeans and a button up shirt or khakis always work well. Now if you know specifically the type of character you're auditioning for, say a business person, dress the role, wear a suit and a tie. You know, if you're supposed to be a hip teenager, dress the roll, find out what people are wearing these days and try to suit yourself to that role. Now it is very important if you do get a call back to remember to wear the exact same thing that you wore to the original audition."
