"THE FERRET: All right. This guitar's got some noisy controls on it, so we're going to have to remove the pick guard to get underneath there and spray the pots out with some of our contact cleaner. And the way to get this off is there is mounting screws that go around the outside perimeter of the pick guard. You just need to remove all of those and then this whole assembly will lift off the guitar. Okay. So what we have is the scratchy volume pot. We've got the screws removed from the pick guard. And we're just going to lift that up a little bit without putting too much stress on it. And we're going to spray some contact cleaner into the opening of the volume pot. And we're going to give the pot a few turns, as you can see. It clears it right up. And now, you've got a silent pot and we can put the screws back on."
