"THE FERRET: You can also look at the strings how close they are to this pickup over here. It looks to be adjusted pretty much correctly even across the side. And you'll notice that there's also adjustable screws on one coil of the pickup. This is so, so you can also find tune the balance from sting to string a little bit more. Okay, so I'm raising this side up, and it looks to be a little more even from side to side. So I'm going to see how that affects the volume now between the two pickups. That's sounding a lot more balanced, but it's also sounding a little bit more bassy now, so I can actually bring this side down on the round strings since I brought this side up over here. And that's also going to correlate to the position of the bridge sometimes to where you'll actually notice that this angle of the bridge and the angles of the pickup is going to correlate. I'm going to adjust that just slightly and listen again. It's getting closer. I'm just going to continue this process until I get it just right."
