"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Spencer Weisbond and this is my lovely partner Jessie Pats. I'm with Hop, Swing and Jump Dance Studios which was founded in NYC and is now based in New Orleans, Louisiana. We're showing you the Lindy hop. The next swing out variation is called the slip slop and it replaces the same beat of time that the last scissor kick did and that is 7 and 8 and 1 and 2. The slip slop goes like this. On 7 we'll lift our foot and we'll slip this way, put our foot down and then on the other beat we'll slop the other way. So it's slip and slop. So what's going to happen is they'll be three of them and then we'll go like this 1 2 3 and 4 5 6 slip slop. Let's try that again 1 2 3 and 4 5 6 slip slop, let's try this at a different angle 1 2 3 and 4 5 6 slip slop slip."
