"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Spencer Weisbond and this is my lovely partner Jessie Pats. I'm with Hop, Swing and Jump Dance Studios which was founded in NYC and is now based in New Orleans, Louisiana. We're showing you the Lindy hop. What is great about the Lindy hop is it allows for freedom of motion or expression and with that comes different foot work. In this dance the ladies have a slightly different stylize foot work than the leaders or for men. What we're going to do now is show you the ladies foot work normally if the lady has a triple step foot work with no fancy foot work, it just looks like this 1 2 3 and 4 5 6 7 and 8. But that is a mirror image of me but really when the lady stylizes her foot work she does a swibble which looks like this 1 2 3 and 4 5 6 7 and 8 1 2 3 and 4 5 6 7 and 8 swibble swibble step step step step swibble swibble (dancing).
