    "Another very common technique to lead guitar playing is bending strings. Now, in bending strings it's used a, really primarily and it's not used in Jazz or Classical because those are far more strict forms of playing where they don't utilize bends and, you know, it's a, they their melodies in other ways. And Blues in particular have a technique called bending a string which is simply; you pick the note and then lift it up to a desired note. So like for example there's a quarter, half, and then like a whole bend where you are trying to match. And it's very useful, I mean not just in Blues style playing but in many others, you know, and it's a form of expression. You know, there's been many players famous for their bending techniques on the strings and it helps to you know, feel there solos better. For example, but a so you know, and a good exercise to get bending especially bending to pitch where you don't sound out of pitch while you're bending is just to simply practice and try to match it with the next note."
