"In this example I'm going to show another leg you can do utilizing the wa pedal and again I'm going to stay kind of in the A minor pentatonic range here in the 5th, 7th fret. So 5th, 7th and 5th fret here. And this time I'm going to be using harmonized chords so basically A, the A note then the E and on the 7th fret the G and the B and on the 5th fret the the G and the B. And what you can do here is just again, what's cool about the wa pedal is you can kind of you can just make it up as you go along. Some people like to just keep kind of a steady thing going. Others like myself like to do just kind of make up just whatever your mind comes up with and after a while as you use the wa pedal more and more you can get where it's more expressive and simply just either having it going in conjunction with your hand as your movements here or sometimes opposite. So I mean this one what I'm going to do is just go. And so what I did there basically is just, I'm not even using a pic on this one, I was using my second and third fingers, I'm just going, so it's like almost every other one I'm using the expression. I'm going, and right here I'm just keeping it up and then bringing it out. So I'm kind of mixing it up again whereas I'm not just simply rocking it back and forth. I'm going again like kind of like how I choose to express on my hand I'm doing with my foot. So it's. So I'm really on like this one I'm not even really making much of a motion with my foot because I want that treb and that mid sound and then I want the sweep again on the next part of the phrase. So essentially what I'm doing there is just kind of sometimes keeping the pedal up which is fine because you're still getting that kind of wa effect out of it and then the sweep part of the wa effect for the next note. So again it's just another example of how you can mix up the wa pedal without having a kind of a monotonous quality to it."
