"I'm going to show you another example of using wah a in the context of a solo and a, pretty much a, you know, the wah goes really well with a using pentatonic scales. The, this shape, you know, or in this case I'm going to do the B Minor pentatonic which you simply move up to the seventh fret. Seven, ten, seven, nine, seven, nine, seven, nine, seven, ten, seven, ten so and a in this one a, another thing I like to use the wah effect with is when I'm bending strings I like to use it sometimes as a almost an exaggerated effect. So if I'm doing like, I'm going to disengage the pedal for a second here, and use it and go, that would be without the effect. So with the effect, let me engage it again, and you know, just do, go, you know give it you know, just a just an exaggerated flavor as opposed to just playing a straight you know, lick with no effect. With the wah it adds a nice you know, little dimension to it where you can go, and again I'm using my foot in conjunction with the motion of my hand to give it that you know, to, that emphasis right there and I'm basically bending up a full step. And as I'm bending up I'm putting my foot down, here I'm bringing the sweep up with the bend and then bringing it back down and just rocking it back and forth for the quicker notes and then with each a motion like the bend here as I'm ending the note bringing the pedal back up and It'll give it a nice emphasis with a your expression while you're playing the lead."
