"In this example a with the wah I'm going to use a, I want to show you how to like mix a couple a, you can actually, I mean you can do whatever you want but you can, like what I like to do while I'm playing live or when I've used them in the studio is rather than doing just doing the same monotonous kind of motion on the pedal like say back and forth or a slow sweep. I like to a inner mix them especially during a, say when I was playing a solo, what I like to do is like say for example I'll do an octave lick. An octave being like on the G and the high E strings seventh fret and this would be a in this case D. Seven and ten on the high E and then you know, just doing kind of an octave lick like say, and what I did there basically is simply you know, start with the rock with my foot what I'm doing is just rock and then do a slow sweep and, and what I, you know, it's such a, the point being is to just mix it up. You know just have it like do it like you're doing the rhythm and then mix in the nice little slow sweep. And then like has an accent to get out of it going, you know, and a makes for a little bit of a variation within your solo."
