"In this example, I'm going to use what's called a pedal tone. I'm going to do the pedal tone first, and then throw a little just basic part of a G major scale within played over the G major riff. And you'll hear what it sounds like played over the backing music. And what I did there, pedal tone is essentially, of course in this case, G being the common tone. So I'm going. So on the G string, I'm going eleven, twelve, nine twelve, seven twelve, and then moving to the D string on the tenth fret, twelve on the G, nine on the D and twelfth on the G. And in this particular one, I went. I went to the G note there, and then just took out of the scale, the G major scale, and then add a nice little bend here, give it a nice, using a kind of a classical, technical sounding pedal tone, and then ended it with a nice, bluesy lick in G."
