"And this idea, what I'm going to show you is, octave played over a clean E minor riff, where you can use a distorted tone. In this case, I'm going to use a little bit of delay as well, just to fatten it up a little bit. And I'll go ahead and show you the idea right now. And what I did there, pretty much, is played over a simple E minor progression, and I used octaves playing on ninth and twelfth frets, which is E, again, starting, keeping it very basic. And then, I was kind of, you saw, you may have noticed me rocking my hands back and forth, I was just kind of adding another effect with my fingers. Just simply, and then sliding up. And keeping a nice simple melody, and the techniques there, just basic, kind of like a little vibrato, which I'm actually doing with my fingers. You know, and kind of just working back and forth creating a simple melody and using some basic techniques with it."
