"Ok, continuing in Drop D, I'm going to show some different riffs, both using distorted and clean tones. And this one, I'm going to stay on the distorted tone end of it. And what I'm going to do this time is add kind of a eighties influence, chunking with the riff in D and with the drums, it sounds like this. And what I did there, was kind of play it in the same notes, the F, G, G# notes of the D Minor scale, and, or Drop D, that's a very common key to use. Just simply muted, going five, three, five, six, five, three, five. So you know just, and on the root of D. So just adding a muting technique and playing down here on the lower register makes it a lot easier, heavier, and you have a nice riff that you can use in one of your songs."
