"This, I'm going to play in the key of A. And, essentially what it is it's called what's called a chromatic riff where I'm just running down the scale in half steps. And, pretty much what I'm going to do here is just kind of a bombastic sounding riff that's been used commonly in metal. And, with the drums it sounds like this. And, so what I did there was just a very simple walk down and kind of attacked the strings a bit heavier or harder rather. And, played and started with C five with a G root. Instead of just going, adding that extra G gives it a heavier tone there. So, I'm going. And, then the same with B with the F sharp root. A sharp with the F root. And, then A. And, so played down it's. Another kind of idea you can use for a riff if you're into playing metal."
