"This clip I'm going to use the wah effect over a drum beat, as kind of like what would make for a good intro, or kind of like something you could use intermittently in a song. And what I'm going to be doing is playing an A minor pentatonic and using the wah effect, and with the drum beat it'll sound like this. So what I'm doing there is essentially playing...starting with the A minor and then do it twice on the seventh fret on the B and the G...on the seventh fret and going...and then using the little wah scrapes in between to give it that kind of funky-sounding effect as well. And then...five, seven, and five, on the B and G. So there on the high E and the B, seventh fret B and G, and the fifth fret B and G. So going...and pretty much with the pedal keeping in time with the drum beat. So I'm going...and sometimes just put a little emphasis on that last note to get that nice wah like that "wwaaahhh". So you want...and gives it something that can be used as a nice intro or within a song, using a wah pedal over a drum beat."

on 1/15/2009 Please remove this video immediately. I am not here to cause trouble but I feel that I must say something in regards to the "lesson" I have just witnessed. I am sure the guitar player in the video has many strengths however using a Wah pedal is not one of them. His playing lacks confidence and expression which completely contradicts his lesson on how to use an expression pedal. I understand that my thoughts are only opinion and with that said there is no right or wrong but please remove this video. I am a guitar teacher and unlike most I like to see my students progress outside of lessons and video lessons like this are nothing more than catalysts for forming bad habits. Thank you for your time.
