"In this example, what I'm going to do here is a little lick in B Minor, using the wah pedal over a drumbeat. Essentially, it's going to be a standard kind of blues lick, but hearing it how it's enhanced with the wah. So over the drums, it will sound like this. And so what I'm doing there is I'm using some rests in between, which is very commonly used in lead guitar, particularly in blues where you can go, starting bending a full bend up on the tenth fret on the B string and holding the B note on the high E string, and then pulling off from the tenth to the seventh and coming to the ninth fret E on the G string. And throw little scrapes in there if you want, for extra textures or whatever rhythm. And then, a little chromatic walk-up on the A string. And I'm moving my foot with the notes. Try to catch that wah on each note. And what you have is a typical blues lick, made a little more interesting with the wah effect over a drumbeat."
