"In this example what I'm going to do is a harmonized chord lead in B minor and use a hybrid picking technique where I'm using my pick in my fingers. And pretty much what I'm going to do is just keep a simple melody line going through the chord progression and I'll explain a little bit more after I play it with the drum tracks. O.k, what I did there essentially was picked, just simply picked a notes out of the B minor scale, in this case it was in the B minor pentatonic box here. And start with the seventh and eighth fret on the E and the B strings and then added that note and then I did a separate shape on the sixth fret and the fifth fret here, on the G and the high E string which is A, and then open, had added open B and then up here on the ninth fret E and then actually C sharp. So, then and again keeping the open note there. So, you know, adding open notes with harmonized chords sometimes you can create a warm atmospheric sounding lead to your progression."
