"Okay in this segment what I'm going to do is use the Wah effect. And if you want to check out some other segments on Expert Village, what I'm doing is showing how to use the Wah pedal. In this one what I'm going to show you is how to use a Wah pedal over some basic drum beats. And what I'm going to be doing here is just a basic Funk beat that you can use in R and B, Soul, whatever genre. And also in Rock, which is the segment I cover. So in this one what I'm going to do is play a clean tone with a Wah and a little reverb in the chorus in it. And it's going to sound like this with the drum beat. And so what I'm doing there is I'm just going, I'm basically just playing that twice. And if you observe my foot, which will be in the little PIP screen, a picture in picture, what you're going to see is just me going. Basically tapping my foot to the tempo of the drums. That's about the tempo right there, give or take a beat per measure. And I'm just going, and intermittently going. And so what I'm doing is just keeping a steady rhythm with the Wah, and throwing in some nice little E nine chords for a nice little funky flavor."
