"In this example I'm going to show you a B minor 7, A minor 7 progression. And, what I'm going to do is use hybrid picking. So, instead of using picking, as I've done in previous examples, what I've going to do is use my fingers; use a hybrid picking which I explained previously. And, with the drums, it'll sound like this. O.k what I did there is kind of had my hand arched almost in a classical type format, but yet still using a pick, you know. Classical, typically they have their wrist pointed out to give a better attack on the strings, and sometimes I like to incorporate that when I'm picking something intricate in the context of a progression using hybrid picking. So, in this case what I did was kept kind of a similar progression, that was my pattern and what I was doing was alternating my fingers and then with my ring and did the same thing on the A minor 7 and kept the same picking pattern. So, in this case I added kind of a classical flavor using hybrid picking over B minor 7 progression."
