"In this example what I'm going to show is a B minor chord progression with a different type of strum where I'm going to be doing, starting as a strum, and then playing with like little melody notes as opposed to a full strum. And I'm going to be doing B minor, A and G major. And with the drums it'll sound like this. Okay, what I did there essentially was start with a down stroke on the B minor, but instead of just simply going back and forth doing a strum, what I did was actually individually picked notes in the chords. So with the B minor I went... or another nice effect is you go...So essentially what I was doing there was picking either, you can do either F sharp in the chord, or you can do... there, and then the same with the other chords, A. And then again it's another variation of a strum you can do and it has a nice effect and doesn't quite sound as monotonous."
