"In this example, I'm going to show you, just simply, all hammer and pull lick on an E Minor scale, where you're only really picking about pretty much every other string, meaning like picking. So, it starts with a series of pull offs, like that, and then we'll come back and do hammer-ons and then pull offs. And I like to throw in an occasional pick to kind of make sure the note still sounds fresh as I'm playing the lick. So, to play it a little faster. Basically, what I'm doing there is pulling off beginning on the eighth fret, seven, five, on the High E String. Same on the B String, eight, seven, five. And then, on the G, what I'm doing is seven, five, four, then hammering on five, seven, pulling back off, picking that note and then same on the D, and ending on E on the seventh fret on the A String."
