"Now pedal tones are a interesting little trick. Sometimes I use them as a feature in a guitar solo or in a lick or you know it is a good practice exercise as well. In this case I'm going to show you not only it can be used as a cool lick but also in the contact of the song, it can be used in any songs. But too also as a form of practicing picking technique and becoming more familiar with the guitar and playing scales. So what I'm going to play is going to be in A minor. I'm going to start on the 15th fret and the repeating note in here is going to be on the 17th. So 15-17, 13-17 on the E string. Then I'm going to move to the B string 15 fret, 13 on the B 17, B12 on the B string and then end on the root note of A. Also the note that I'm repeating on. So up to speed it's going to sound like this. It is a good practice exercise you know just hit."
