Video Transcript

"I was discussing Rock rhythms and muting as it's a very common Rock technique. So what I'd like to show here the last one I showed and as an example was. What I'm going to show now is that's simply doing muting on a single string. What I'm going to show is doing on at least two strings, doing the muting technique. So rather than having an open and mute, it's going to be all muted. So in the same chords A-5, E-5 and B-5. And basically what I'm doing there is the A-5, picking those two notes. These two notes E and B. And then the B-5, B and F sharp. And basically what it is it gives it a more like hard edge sound rather than all. So what we're going to do here is go. And that gives it that nice muted effect and a little harder edge sound."
