"Hi! I'm Sarah Mclellan and we are in New York City. Today on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to apply makeup for stage. Now is the time to add a little bit of shading and get some contouring into our face. Obviously, you're not going to use this for your daytime makeup. This is very much about creating the illusion of really heightened features on stage under those bright stage lights. I actually use a bronzer. You can use a lighter brown blush or any sort of shading or contouring powder. I've got a nice big blush brush, bronzer brush. I'm just going to kind of sweep through. Don't get too much. Tap it off. Tap the excess off. Then I'm going to sweep it over my cheeks up and down. I like to do a bit of blush face while I'm doing this. When you do that you can see the line of your cheekbones, which helps I think a little bit. What you're also going to do now is you're going to sweep it under your chin all the way under. Just a little bit around. I also like to put a little bit near up near your hair line just to get a bit of color up there. Your ears, around there. Then that's pretty much what you're going to do for shading. Obviously, you can add more if you're doing a character role, but general shading, you just want to make it kind of subtle."
