"Hi! I'm Sarah Mclellan and we are in New York City. Today on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to apply makeup for stage. What I like to do when I'm starting my concealer and my base is just because I think you're putting so much makeup on your face, to protect your skin a little bit, I like to kind of use a tiny bit of moisturizer all over my skin to really give me a nice base for all that makeup to go on. Also, I think it gives you a smoother canvas. What we want to do is conceal any sort of blemishes you might have or any red spots. I usually do under my eyes because as a performer, you're always up late spending too much time out at night or even just finishing chores late. You want to kind of conceal all those areas around any sort of shadows you might have up in this area. It's very attractive right now. You want to kind of blend that in to make sure you've created a pretty even skin tone. What I find if you're using a bit more of a pancake base and you use a sponge, but I just use my fingers. Rub it in and make sure you get an even skin tone for your concealer."
