"Hi this is Shana Bethune and on behalf of Expert Village and I'm going to talk to you about exporting files from final cut pro. So after you finish all of your editing and you render everything it is time to export your file. Export your file so it can be viewed using different programs. To export go up to file and then down to export. The most common method of exporting is by making a quick time movie. So here you can choose where you want to save it and then down here you can change the settings. All these different preset settings or you can set costume settings, it all depends on what type of files you want to create, how you would be viewing it, the size of the file, and the compression rate that you want. You can also choose whether you want your files to include audio and video, just audio or just video. Another way of exporting is by using quick time conversion, now this is a good option if you plan on putting your file on the Internet. It has settings that are good for different types of Internet connections. So if you want to make a lower quality file that can be viewed on computer that have a slower connection speed you can use a lower option or if you want it to be used on a high speed computer you can choose the highest one. Also using quick time conversion you can export just one frame of your video as jpig for example by clicking still image format. So go into options and up here you have different image forms choices.
