You can uninstall a program from your computer if you no longer use it or if you want to free up space on your hard disk. This is the series of articles (with video tutorials), I am writing to get acquainted with Microsoft Vista. If you have recently switched to Windows Vista, you may immediately notice the difference in the way in which Vista operates. Many of the windows features are the same, but many are changed or replaced. This video tutorials are designed to get to know the basic features in Vista. Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to Start. Click on 'Control Panel'.

  2. Step 2

    Click on 'Programs and Features'. (If you don't see it, click 'Classic view' on the top left pane.)

  3. Step 3

    Right click on the program, which you want to uninstall or remove. And click 'Uninstall'.

  4. Step 4

    Follow the on-screen instructions.

  5. Step 5

    Some programs include the option to change or repair the program in addition to uninstalling it. but many simply offer the option to uninstall.

    You may also be prompted to restart computer to completely remove the program.

    Sometimes, while uninstalling program, you may get a message that some files are shared by other programs, and weather you want to remove them. Opt to keep them.
