On behalf of Expert Village I'm Safi Thomas from the Hip Hop Dance Conservatory here in NYC. Today we're going to bring you reggae dance hall moves. So we're going to start you off with some simple exercise to try to get you loosened up in relation to doing dance hall moves. This first one is called chest isolation. We're just going to do a very simple movement where we're going to go side to side, we're isolating the chest and then we're going to go front to back. Now watch what this looks like. (dancing) If you notice she's isolating the chest, the shoulders are not going anywhere ,it's all about that isolation and now she's going to move forward. Forward back forward, when she comes in she's contracting the abdomen all that is all in the chest, all in the chest. The shoulders still are now part of it. You can do these isolations over and over again until you start to loosen up the chest and starts to feel a lot better.
