So we are starting with popping and popping is a art form that started over in the west coast. It was actually brought over here by a dancer names Boogaloo he was a locking and Boogaloo . So when popping came over here or popping is pretty much a contraction and release in the muscle. Popping was developed by a man name Boogaloo Sam or Sam Salmon. It was his pretty much a style a dancing that also came from another style called hitting. So it was hitting and hitting was eventually developed to popping by Boogaloo Sam.
