"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Safi Thomas from the Blade Academy here in New York City. These are my dancers from the Blade Academy and Hop Dance Conservatory, and we're here to today to teach you about hip hop dance audition techniques. The first stage we're going to go through is called clarity. Clarity means that we're going to break down what the movement is supposed to look like without music. This is where you start to identify what the choreographer is looking for and what their body is moving like because you want to look exactly like them. For this particular piece, no definition. You want to start off. You're here, 1, 2, and 3, and 4. I just counted you out on a specific rhythm. Now, just watch them do it. 5, 6, 7, 8."
