"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Safi Thomas form the Blade Academy here in New York City. These are my dancers from the Blade Academy and Hop Dance Conservatory, and we're here to today to teach you about hip hop dance audition techniques. What we do at the Blade Academy is we feel that anyone, any dancer, has the ability to make and develop themselves from the ground up. What we're going to do is we're going to take you through what's called the Blade technique, and the Blade technique is very simple. We separate your learning stages into 3 different stages; clarity, definition, translation. We're going to take you through all those. Any and all of those things you're using what's called form, which is frequent and organized, repetition, and mastery so that anyone, any dancer regardless of their level, will make it in audition. All of these techniques put together are going to help you to be the shiny start that's in that audition. Everything that you're going to learn here today is going to give you what you need to succeed in hip hop dance as professional."
