Video Transcript

" Hi! My name is Sahira and I’m here on behalf of Expert Village to tell you all about belly dancing. This is an example of a modern Egyptian style belly dance costume, which was designed by Eman Zaki in Egypt, I actually picked this up on my last trip to Cairo. This is fairly typical for belly dance costumes today, it’s a skirt that’s decorated and a bra that’s decorated to match, there are also other styles that have a bra and a belt set that can be worn over a variety of different skirts. The Turkish style costumes you will find have a lot of more fringe on them than the Egyptian style, which tends to be a little more simple when it comes to fringe and perhaps a little more decorated when it comes to the bead work, look around there’s a lot of different styles of costumes out there to suit you. Thank you so much for joining me, once again my name is Sahira I can be found online at The NiaMoves Studio at www.niamoves.com and also at my personal web page at www.sahira.cc and there you can also find out more information about my belly dance instructional video Arabian Spices."
