"Hi, this is Sarah McLellan in New York City we at June Parody's Dance Studio. On behalf of Expert Village I'm going to teach you today some basic and beginning tap moves. Come on in! So the digs are really slightly different to hips or any other kind of tap steps in the way they dig into the ground. Which really kind of gives it away but I"m going to teach you a little bit about that. There is the bold dig, the heel dig, and the toe dig. So as I was saying the digs really need to stick into the ground. This is the bold dig holding it on the ground keeping right there. Then with the heel dig you can do it 2 ways you can do a heel dig or you can do a heel dig like that. But of course with the toe dig you are keeping it on the ground and there are your digs. You should also make sure that you always do these things on the left foot so we would do our bold dig, heel dig, and toe dig. "
