"RYAN LARSON: Now, we're going to take a look at our next two measures. And we have our 4 minor, E minor, B, C, D, E, 4 minor and then A7 or flat 7, 7. So it's like the progression we had where our sharp 4 or our 5 to our flat 7, but now we're going 4 to flat 7. So if we look at the fret board, we have 1, 2, 3, 4 minor, and then we have our 7 on the flat 7, which is that hard chord to get again, right? It's a great thing to practice to get your dexterity down. You can even see a high delay a little bit. I hit the root and then I voice it, but it's okay. As long you're staying in time, you're gold. And again, you could use this substitute 4. If this is a little bit too hard for you--but I'm not afraid and I hope you aren't, because you got to get all these chords under your fingers. So a nice, simple two-chord progression, 4 minor to your flat 7, 7th chord. You really want to get those under your fingers. Well, it doesn't hurt to practice these things constantly and repetitively because it really helps to build your technique overall and helps get your fingers moving in a much more classical bossa nova style."
