"RYAN LARSON: The 7th fret. And I like playing these three strings. You can also play it here. But you got 7, 9, 7, 8, 7. But you can just do shorthand this bar and put your pointer finger there or middle finger on the 7th or 8th fret. So those are our first three chords. And we are going to look at them real quick as they are written out. So here is our first chord. We have B major, and you want to make sure you write this at home - this is tab - starting from our high string to our low string, and these are the fret marking. So you have 7th fret, and this 9th fret was optional. Again, remember we did that little 5th. And then we skip these two strings. We have 8, 9. So you want to write that down: 7, 8, 9, 9, and write the six lines. Your B minor was: 7, 5, 7, 7, 7, 7. And then you have: 7, 7, 8, 7 for our 7th chord. And we barred this whole string, but we didn't pluck these strings. So we just pluck this string and these strings. So again, this is good for your technique. You use your thumb here and three fingers just to pluck these three strings. Again, and we are not using a pick because we are playing bossa. And those are your first three chords."
