"Now we're going to take a look at how these three chords fall on the D string, a little bit more advanced voicings but still very pretty. Very lush. So we start with our major, very simple, we got three, two, three, three. And I also notated you can use the fifth fret on the top two strings as well. And we'll show you that, so we got three, three, two, three, three. And we got middle, pointer, ring, and if you want to put your pinky up to the fifth fret you can get this. And then for our minor chord we have three, one, three, three. So we get that minor third the same way we did on the string below, right, three, one, three, three. And then for our seventh chord we have three, two, four, three. And that has the same fingering as our major chord on the string below but now it's a seventh chord. So three, two, four, three. Again, we'll look at those on paper. We have three, one, three, three, for the minor chord. You can also write down three, three, two, four as an alternate chord. And then our seventh chord is three, two, four, three. So you have three basic chords, and now we're going to show you how to go through and apply them to reading through your real book tunes."
