"So now that we have our scale down we're going to go through and number it one through seven. And again, if you click on the link at the top of the screen, it will give you a chart to print out to play along. What we have here. One, and we're numbering. We're not doing our fingerings now. We're numbering the scale one through seven. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven and then you have one. One, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. And then you have two here, right? One, two, one, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one, seven, six. So those are your notes. And the importance of numbering them is you get all your intervals from one to two is a second. That's a second. One to three is a third. That's one, three, five, right? Third, fifth. So I can do that pattern and move it up a step. Now I have I have A flat triad, D flat triad. So by doing this you get to analyze the scale and you can look at it from a much more logical view. And then when we go through and start making walking bass lines you can use this information. Very useful. It's very useful. It's good."
