"Now that we have our new scale we can number it just like we did before: One, two, three, four five, six, seven, one. And this gives us a whole new set of intervals. We have our second, we have a minor third now, a fourth, fifth, sixth, and a flat seven. And that's what are the distinguishing notes of a minor scale it has a flat third and a flat seven. So, by finding our minor using the same scale we get these new intervals which we can add to our bag of tricks: We got a minor third, and a minor seventh. So you can go around and start messing around with some A minor."
