"Now we are going to take a visual look at the scale as it lays on the fret board. So if we start here on E flat it is right on the 11th fret right under the double dot. So really high up on your base and you skip a fret, skip a fret. So 11,13,15 and then the same thing on the next string 11,13,15 and then you crunch it 12,13,15,12,13,15. So you got this; skip a fret, skip a fret, skip a fret, crunch, skip a fret, crunch, skip a fret. So you really got this pattern under your fingers and again it is movable, you can play anywhere on the base. We are just putting it way up there to help put you under the gun there. But it is really good to get that pattern down and when you do utilized the 2 new roots. Your second root which is your minor root and your 5th root which is your 7th chord. A 7th chord so it starts on the 5th. 1,2,3,4,5 so it starts right here. Right under the crunches. That is a quick run through of E flat major pattern. "
