Video Transcript

"RYAN LARSON: So, today we're going to focus on the key of A major and we're going to go through our A major scale and it starts right here. And we're using this position where the root is on our pinkie and that's the scale you would use. And what's great about this scale is you can move it to any position on the bass. So, if I want to move it up here to D flat--but today, we're focusing mainly on A and we're going to through and analyze a tune in A and we're going to through and show you how to find all the different root notes and then how to apply the different scales that we've learned and utilized over these different root notes so you can really get a good idea or a concept of how to walk through some harder fake book tunes that switch around into different keys."
