"RYAN LARSON: So now we have our important roots. We have our 1, our 6 and our 2 and our 5. So now we can do some jazz walking and what is called the 1-6-2-5 turnaround where you just simply go 1-6-2-5. And what I'm doing is called sidestepping where I take the note I need to be and then I slide into the next note. So 1 and to 6, and to 2, and to 5, and to 1, and to 2, and to 6, and to 5. And all those notes fall right down this row. You have 1-6-2-5-1-6-2-5-1 so you can go. You can also do 3-6-2-5 which is 3-6-2-5-6-2-5-1-3-6-2-5-3-6-2-5-3-6-2-5-1. And those are some hip chords in A on the bass."
