"RYAN LARSON: Now, we're going to go over an example playing with the band. And we have a nice simple, repetitive loop going out on our chord out here. And you can really feel that pulse and like I said before with the soul, you gotta feel it 3-4-1-2-3-4. And you have to get that groove down before you start playing or it's not going to be, it's not going to sound in tune or in the same time at all. So, now, you got that groove, 2-3-4-1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4. Now, listen to it if I didn't have the right groove. Doesn't sound good at all, right? It's kind of in my world over here doing my shaker thing. It doesn't even sound good. But if you feel that groove, it just takes it, 3-4. That's how you play with the band with your shaker."
