"RYAN LARSON: Now, we're going to take our shaker and we're holding it sideways like this and what you're going to get what's called like a loose rolling effect when we get all the beads to go all the way around in a circular motion. And you make an egg type pattern with your hand. Again, it takes a lot of patience to really just get it sound right every time and it seems redundant but just to get the right sound. It takes a long time. And you really want to concentrate and just keep your hand moving. See, I lost it. There we go. So, that's another effect you can throw in while you're playing and it works great especially if you're recording the shakers, it gives a nice effect and you can really hear all those beads just rolling around inside there."
