"Now we're going to go and introduce G flat major and get our first chord down. All the tunes we're going to be playing through today are in G flat major and you know you're in G flat major when you have six flats and it'll be notated on your sheet music. Right now we're going to show you the G flat major scale. You start right here on the group of three. So we have G flat, A flat, B flat, B, D flat, E flat, and F. So you have all the black notes and the white notes above and below the group of three. To get our first chord what we do is to we number the scale one through seven. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. We're going to play what's called the black chord where you play one, three, five, and seven. That's our first chord, G flat major. You can move the seven down to the six too it sounds nice too. I'm just moving around in my right hand up and down that scale. So that's your first chord G flat seven. You can do a little walking base line too if you break it up. That's our first chord, G flat major."
