"So now we are going over our next chord or D7 which is our 3rd chord and D7 or the 7 chords that we are going to learn is we are going to drive out of the 5th degree of the scale. So if we start on G 1,2,3,4,5, we end right here on D and again we want to make this 1 and 1-7 in the same scale. Right 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, and we get our 7th chord 1,3,5,7. So now we can go A minor, D7 in G major and that creates what jazz musicians call a 2,5. Where you go to your 5,7 to your 1 major so that is nice simple lingo 2 minor, 5-7, 1 major. Those are our first 3 chords right. 2 minor, 5,7, 1 major. That is our 5,7 chord or D7."
