G Major Piano Scale for Beginners

"So now we are going to go over our first chord our G major chord. First, we are going to learn our chord a simple scale. Again G major has 1 sharp and you know you are reading a tune in G major if there is 1 sharp noted right there on the actual scale. You would see there would be a treble cleft here and then the B and F sharp is right here. Actually it is noted right here F sharp. So you have 1 sharp that is when you know you are in G major and our G major scale looks like this. We start on G right here right in between the group of 3 right. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1 sharp right here F sharp. If you go by the chord ends you have G, A, B, C, D, E, F sharp G. But again for chord purposes we have 1-7 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. The first chords we are going to learn are black chords which is comprised of 1,3,5, and 7. Then again you can play these any order I can play 3,5,7,1, or 5,7,1,3. How about dropping the 7 to the 6,2 sometimes. It is kind of like that Christmas chord. So that is your first chord you G major 7. You want to write that down at home write down the scale and we go through and we are going to get 4 more chords out of that very same scale in just a minute. "
