"RYAN LARSON: Now we're going to show you the appropriate way to set up your stand. This seems a little redundant but it's very important and you're going to encounter some problems and I've gone through the same problems myself. First of all, you're going to have two notches here. You have the notch at the bottom and you have this notch here at the top. And it's very important that you don't just use the bottom notch and do whatever with this; first of all, 'cause it will collide into the side of the congas and you'll get some dents on there. As you can see, I've done that. And then second of all, it's not set up to sustain all that weight and it will slowly slide down. Especially if you're really getting into your playing and really wailing on those congas, they'll just go down to the ground. So, what you want to do is get it even and you want to make sure your front two legs are pointing out so they don't touch the bottom of the conga. And you want to move this up and move this down as far as possible so it's hitting this one down here. And then you tighten the tension here on this screw and then you tighten the tension on this screw as well. And then it should have enough weight to sustain both congas. Now, if you've lost this notch and you're still having the sliding down problem, there is another way to answer that. And you get your everyday wrench and just take your bottom and just tighten it harder than your hand can tighten it. So, just go to that bottom one and we'll take this off of here, slowly one by one. And you just want to tighten this bottom one and see how I can get a couple more notches out of it. That should hold it up as well. And you're just going to need a wrench to loosen it again. Here we go. So, that's nice and tight there. I'm not going to get any movement. So, if you don't have the second notch or it's broken or missing, you can just tighten it at the bottom as well. And you have a nice conga stand that can take your abuse 'cause you're going to be hitting these babies."
