"RYAN LARSON: Now that we have our chord changes down, we're going to walk through the tune, just the A section. And, again, the A section starts with our I chord for two measures, so we're going to walk I for two measures, and then we have to land on ii here on the new downbeat. So we play ii here and then we walk four beats in the scale to our V, and we land on V right here, and then again ii, V to I. So we're going to show you how to do that. If you look at the bass, I have I here, right? 1, there's our 1-2-3-4-5-6, 5-6-7-1. So I gotta walk I for eight beats and then land on ii, then I have to do that for four beats then v for four beats, ii-V to I. So we're going to walk it. I, ii-V, ii-V, I. Again, I, I'm just walking in the scale, ii, V, ii-V, I. So you can write these chord changes down at home and just really try to walk through the A section and come up with some nice bass lines, and I'm staying right in that major scale pattern."
